LEADERS of Eden Vale pre-school are reassuring parents worried the group is set to close.
The pre-school is based at Westbury Youth Centre, which may have to close in September to make way for a Children's Centre. One of the leaders, Julia Bister, said: "As far as we are concerned there is no threat of closure. I want to reassure parents that we are not closing. We are here to stay. We are very positive about the future."
She said Wiltshire County Council had given the pre-school the option of returning to the building once it became a children's centre and while refurbishment work was carried out it would be housed in a double mobile classroom outside.
She added if the new children's centre does not go ahead the pre-school would stay where it was.
