CHILDREN at a special needs pre-school in Trowbridge are celebrating after their play area and garden received a makeover.
Staff from Nutricia, based on the White Horse Business Park in Trowbridge, worked from Friday to Monday to make sure the project was complete, after collecting money through a series of fundraising events.
Work involved planting flowers, clearing up the garden, removing a dangerous water feature and putting up a weather shelter. Local firms, including Travis Perkins and Brandon Tool Hire, provided the equipment and supplies free of charge.
HTV West presenter Keri Eldridge was invited to the pre-school in Polebarn Road on Monday to unveil the finished results. She said: "It was an honour to be invited. The revamped play area and gardens will be of great benefit to all the children who go to Stepping Stones. "The volunteers put in a lot of hard work over the weekend but it's all worth it."
