A CIVIC reception will be held in the autumn to celebrate the work of volunteers.
Five west Wiltshire mayors and Cllr Paul Batchelor, chairman of West Wiltshire District Council, were due to launch the Big Thank You event today.
Members of the public are being asked to nominate 50 volunteers to attend the reception, which will be held at Longleat House on October 27, courtesy of Lord Bath.
Cllr Batchelor said: "There are hundreds of people across west Wiltshire who make a positive impact on our community every day by giving unpaid help to organisations, groups and individuals." Nominations can be made up until September 7.
