CHIPPENHAM Town opened their pre-season campaign with a comprehensive 6-0 thumping of Bradford Town at Trowbridge Road last night.
Manager Darren Perrin used 21 players in total as most of his summer buys got a thorough work out. Two goals from Bath City target Dave Gilroy, two goals from the returning Yan Klukowski and one goal each for Ross Adams and Matt Rawlins completed a comfortable night's work.
Goalkeeper Steve Perrin saved a penalty in what turned out to be Bradford's only strike on target in the match. Chippenham are next in action on Friday, July 21, when they visit neighbours Melksham Town. Kick off 7.45pm.
