Melksham Town Council has agreed to take ownership of five community defibrillators bought for the town after a fundraising campaign. Mel Scott, duty manager at Melksham Assembly Hall, spearheaded the campaign and has raised £9,000 since November. Now, with the equipment almost ready to be installed in locations around Melksham, the council has agreed to add it to its asset register on behalf of the people of Melksham.
