FUNDRAISERS from the Royal United Hospital’s Forever Friends will tour Wiltshire in a Vauxhall Meriva donated by Trowbridge’s Platinum Vauxhall before Ted’s Big Day Out.

Events organiser Jo Hones said: “Platinum always provide us with brilliant support every year.

“It really makes a difference, having a campaign car, because Ted’s Big Day Out is not solely based in Bath. It is important we can go out in the catchment area and raise awareness.”

Platinum sales manager James Gray said: “I know the team will put the car to good use in increasing awareness of the fundraising they are doing in a bid to improve facilities for cancer patients.”

Supporters will pay £1 to take teddies to schools, colleges or work for Ted’s Big Day Out on October 19, with a Fluorescent Friday theme.
