Bradford on Avon Rotary Club member Dan Conley recently handed over a cheque for £3,225 to Lord MacLaurin, chairman of the charity Hope For Tomorrow.
The charity funds mobile chemotherapy units, which give treatment to patients nearer their homes, so reducing travel and waiting times for patients and the strain on busy hospitals.
Mr Conley is pictured standing in front of the newly commissioned North Wiltshire Chemotherapy Unit at the Great Western Hospital, which is named in memory of his late wife Linda. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer at the hospital but sadly died last November.
Bradford Rotary continues to support Dan with his fundraising and together has now raised more than £80,000 towards the £150,000 cost of each unit.
