RESIDENTS of Bradford on Avon are being invited to don their Christmas jumpers and take part in a mass mob in aid of Save the Children.
The town is setting its sights on becoming the first town in the country to take part in a town-wide Christmas jumper day appeal, the latest fundraising initiative from the Save the Children charity. Businesses, residents and visitors of the town are all being asked to visit Lamb’s Yard with their favourite Christmas jumpers on to raise money for the charity.
A text donation line has already been set up, which will go directly to Save the Children, so all people have to do is text TEAMBOA to 70050 to donate £2 to the appeal.
The mob of jumper wearers will be meeting at Lamb’s Yard at 2pm on Friday (December 16).
