THE clock is ticking for anyone wanting to vote for their favourite Bradford on Avon business in the 2017 BoA Business Awards.

Following the success of the inaugural Bradford on Avon (BoA) Business Awards in 2016 the competition is back for 2017.

The awards are designed to celebrate the diversity of the town and the surrounding villages business landscape.

The BoA Business Awards represent retail, tourism, exporting, financial services, the creative industries and more. The award scheme is supported by BoA Business, a community of more than 300 businesses based in and around the town.

This year’s 113 nominees in 16 categories include IT firm Systemagic, estate agents Cobb Farr, Wooley Grange Hotel, Kettlesmith Brewery, Orton Jewellery and Dixon Health.

In 2016 there were over 80 nominations, across 14 different categories and over 2,500 people took part and cast over 12,250 votes across the categories. 2017 is set to smash this record with nearly 4,000 votes collected so far.

Andrew Eberlin, chair of Boa Business said: “The 2016 awards were a great success. Our aim was to showcase the variety of predominantly independent businesses in the town and raise the profile of the business community. We can’t wait to announce this year’s worthy winners on awards night.”

Voting closes at 10pm on Sunday, October 1. To see the full list of nominees and to cast your vote visit: www.boabusiness.co.uk/awards/
