A TROWBRIDGE man arrested in the early hours of Christmas morning for drunk and disorderly behaviour in the town was later joined by his sister and her boyfriend.
Police arrested the 20-year-old man in Castle Street, and only a short time after he was taken to Melksham Police Station he was joined by his 19-year-old sister, who was also arrested for being drunk and disorderly in the town centre.
Her partner Jamie Shiner was also arrested, and was later charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place and assaulting a police constable.
Jamie Shiner, 20, of Alderton Way, Trowbridge, was bailed to attend North Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court in Chippenham on January 8.
The brother and sister involved were both given fixed penalty notices by police.
