Southwick Entertainers will be taking people down a yellow brick road when they stage their January pantomime, The Wizard of Oz.

The story is being given the Hollywood treatment again this year, but, for the production at the Southwick Village Hall, director and producer Andrew Figini has enlisted 30 players from the village.

He has been busy designing the set, as well as co-ordinating the props, while other members have been making the costumes.

He said: “This story has all the ingredients for an entertaining and enjoyable panto production, which will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.”

The show take to the stage from Thursday to Saturday, January 24 to 26, at 7.30pm daily.

There will also be a matinee show on the Saturday, at 2pm.
