Two men from Melksham have been released on bail until January pending further investigations into the car crash in which 19-year-old Max Lewis died on Saturday afternoon.
Friends have said the 18-year-old and 25-year-old drivers went voluntarily to speak to police yesterday morning.
Police initially arrested them on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
It follows a four day appeal to trace the drivers of two cars who witnesses said were travelling close to the Citroen Saxo being driven by Dan Palmer before it crashed in Forest Lane, Melksham, fatally injuring its passenger Max, of Baldham, Seend.
Mr Palmer, 22, of Bowmans Court, Melksham, was seriously injured and airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.
