A 48-year-old who assaulted a woman on New Year’s Day has been released on bail.
Lynton Hackett, of St Andrew’s Road, Melksham, pleaded guilty to causing committing actual bodily harm when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to February 13 so the probation service can compile a pre-sentence report and bailed Hackett until that date.
