Melksham residents are being given the opportunity to choose the name and logo for the town’s new campus.

The choice of names includes Melksham Community Campus or Melksham House Community Campus.

Four logos have also been designed which reflect a part of the town. Two of these feature trees to symbolise the town’s forest which was visited by King John during the 13th century and the oak trees which were used to make stalls in Salisbury Cathedral.

The other features Melksham bridge which was ruined by floods in 1809 and the fourth represents the town’s community coming together.

People have until March 13 to give feedback by going to melksham.ourcommunitymatters.org.uk or by voting at Melksham Library and Melksham Town Hall.

The final logo and name will be revealed at the Melksham Area Board meeting on April 15.
