WILTSHIRE Royal British Legion will hold its annual county parade in Melksham on Sunday (June 7).
The standards and members of all the branches in Wiltshire, along with contingents of the regular forces and cadets, will march from the King Street car park at 2.40pm to St Michael's Church for a service of rededication.
The public are welcome to attend this service, and are asked to be seated in church by 2.45pm. On the return parade the salute will be taken outside the Town Hall.
Volunteers are also being invited to help tidy and litter pick in the town from 11am-1pm before the event. Anyone interested should arrive at the Town Hall in suitable clothes at 11am. Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided and everyone who joins in will earn one Time Credit for each hour given.
To join in or find out more call Melksham Town Hall on 01225 704187 or email miriam@melkshamtown.co.uk
