Judges faced a tough task in this year’s Trowbridge in Bloom Short Story Compet-ition, with lots of interesting entries in both the adult and children sections.
The winners will get cash prizes provided by Forrester Sylvester Mackett and book tokens by Waterstones, which will be presented at the Trowbridge in Bloom awards evening on September 23.
The adult category was won by Kate Drinkwater for Flowers in a Flutter, with Rachael McDonald in second place with Pumpkin of Promise and Stanley Jones with The Flower Show.
Morgan McGowan won the Children’s Section with A Wish, with Francis O’Mahony in second place with The Seasonal Tree and Kye Hulbert in third with Riley’s Big Tree Save.
