A 72-year-old woman who is accused of claiming tens of thousands of pounds in benefits she wasn't entitled to is to face trial by judge and jury.
Doreen Eddy pleaded not guilty to two counts of evasion of liability through deception and one of obtaining a money transfer by deception when she appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
Eddy, of Chantry Gardens, Southwick, is said to have received more than £60,000 she wasn't entitled to between October 2003 and April last year.
It is alleged she claimed she was single when in fact she was living in a common household with her husband.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to a trial date to be fixed and released Eddy on bail.
