The first flower festival to take place at Wesley Road Methodist Church in Trowbridge for over a decade was considered a huge success by organisers when it returned at the weekend.
It was opened by Mayor of Trowbridge, Glyn Bridges, last Friday and finished on Sunday with a Harvest celebration service.
Donations made during the course of the event went to the Bath Cancer Unit Support Group’s Positron Scanner Appeal. There were also musical performances over the three days.
Flower arrangers included members of the church family, as well as those from Trowbridge and District Floral Art Club and Melksham Floral Art Club.
Organiser Marion Davies said: “It went really well and it was a great success. We had wonderful comments in our visitors’ book.
“We haven’t done one since the 1990s, but everyone said we should do another one soon.
“I want to thank all of the committee who helped to organise it.”
