A FEMALE driver had a lucky escape after her car crashed into Richard Gardner hair salon in Trowbridge this morning.
The woman’s black Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Citroen driven by a male were involved in a collision and the Corsa veered off into the shop front. No one was injured.
The incident occurred just after 7.15am in Stallard Street, Trowbridge, with police and fire services arriving shortly after.
Neil Hiscock, Watch Manager at Trowbridge Fire Station, said: “We are using paratech equipment which is new Wiltshire Fire and Rescue to sure up the building and support the structure.
“The building has been evacuated and we’re waiting for a building surveyor to say whether it is safe to go in.”
