A woman was trapped for 50 minutes on Monday morning when her VW Golf was involved in a head-on crash with a milk delivery Ford Transit van on the A363 at Trowle, near Trowbridge.
Two crews from Trowbridge Fire Station had to cut the roof off the car to release the woman, lifting her out on a spine board.
She was taken to the Royal United Hospital, Bath, with leg and chest injuries which were not thought to be life threatening.
The driver of the Ford Transit was treated for shock.
The road was closed for most of the morning. Wiltshire Police confirmed that no arrests have been made and investigations are still ongoing.
