FAMILY-run Trowbridge business 1st Call Installations, which supplies and installs double and triple glazed window, doors, replacement fascias and more, is celebrating the launch of its new showroom.

The company, which was founded by Ben Warren in March last year, is based at Ashton Mills in West Ashton Road, Trowbridge, and supplies a wide range of products, including UPVC double glazed windows, doors and conservatories.

An event was held on April 24 to launch the new showroom, with MP Dr Andrew Murrison cutting the ribbon. Deputy Mayor of Trowbridge Roger Andrews and Trowbridge Town Crier were also among those in attendance.

It marked another huge milestone for the company, which only recently celebrated its first year of trading, and Mr Warren said the firm is already seeing the benefits of the new showroom.

Mr Warren said: “The firm has gone from strength to strength since opening and I have had a lot of help and support from family and friends. The new showroom is already working well and I’m going to be taking on two new fitters soon to cope with demand.”

Fred Blyth, who attended the event, is one of a number of happy customers and said: “I couldn’t fault their service; the back of our house has been completely transformed.”

At the event, a competition was held where each guest was given a goody bag and the chance to win a brand new composite door. Inside each bag was a key and if that key opened the competition door they were a winner.

After several unsuccessful attempts, a winner was finally found, with Colin Stone, of Wiltshire Drive, Trowbridge, winning the prize. He said: “I am absolutely delighted to win as I’ve never won anything before in my life.”

Mr Stone is now looking forward to choosing the style and colour of door, which will be provided and fitted by 1st Call Installations for free. All of the company’s products come with a 10 year guarantee.
