Trowbridge WI members enjoying their meal out
Trowbridge WI met for their annual Brighten January/after Christmas meal on January 26.
The group decided several years ago that as members all receive quite a few invites to pre-Christmas meals, and January was such a long boring month, they would plan a cheer-up lunch then.
Altogether 17 members turned up, despite the driving rain to, to enjoy a lovely lunch amidst good company, renewing friendships and hearing each other's news, including an account of one members' 80th birthday celebrations. They would like to thank the Shaw Trust Garden centre at Palmer Gardens and its friendly staff for their warm welcome and tasty food.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 16, 2pm, as usual at Trowbridge Cricket Club.
