FAMILY is at the heart of one business in Trowbridge which has just opened its doors in the town.

Located in the Gateway Shopping Centre, Casa Bella Furniture is owned by husband and wife duo Rob and Suzanne Pearce and offers shoppers an eclectic mix of furnishings, accessories and garden furniture.

Initially started as an online business, the Bradford on Avon couple said plans to open the shop came along rather impulsively.

Mrs Pearce, 32, said: “We started our business online ten years ago this January where we started importing furniture. We have been doing that and building it up, selling to all different places over the UK and it wasn’t too long ago that we decided it was time to open up a shop.

“Since we officially opened, it has been really busy and we’ve had to get organised because we only took on the lease a week before we moved in.

“We pride ourselves on the fact that everything we are doing is new and modern and we are trying to be different. You have the long established shops that have been here for years and everything we want in our shop is new and it hasn’t been done before.

“We want to keep our range fresh. We will be changing things around and there will be new stuff coming in all the time.”

Specialising in wooden furniture, sofas and armchairs, lamps, and other home accessories, Casa Bella hopes to widen its range of products as the seasons change and will soon be introducing garden furniture.

The shop, which only opened a week ago, is manned by staff who are all family to the couple including Mrs Pearce’s sister and her mother-in-law – something which she believes shows customers that family is at the core of everything they do.
