A MAN in his 70s has died after he collapsed while gardening beside a stream in Trowbridge on Sunday morning.
Police confirmed that a 72-year-old man died in Wyke Road after officers were called at 10.50am to a report of a sudden death.
It is understood the man was standing in a shallow stream working on the garden when he collapsed and fell onto the bank.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
Wyke Road was closed during the morning as an ambulance and the fire service attended.
