DEAN’S Diner in St Stephen’s Place Leisure Place, Trowbridge, has closed down.
It is not yet known whether the closure is temporary or permanent but former employees of the American diner have said that it is permanent on social media.
A spokesperson from JLL, the company which owns the land, said last week they are waiting to hear an update from the restaurant chain’s management team, who still hold the tenancy agreement.
The restaurant joined Nando’s, Prezzo, Frankie & Benny’s, Odeon and Premier Inn at the leisure park in 2014.
Fans of the restaurant took to social media to express their sadness as news broke.
Stacie Mercedes Bartlett said: “I loved it there, never had any issues and it was my pancake place… gutted.”
Lynda Adams said: “Can't believe it, was it losing money? It was quite expensive but it was my grandson’s favourite place for a treat. Hope the site doesn't stay empty for too long."
The Wiltshire Times attempted to speak to the chain but was unsuccessful.
