Minster C of E Primary School in Warminster has been recognised for its work helping disadvantaged children and given £1,000.
The Pupil Premium Award goes to schools that have done the most to boost the attainment of their disadvantaged pupils. The Emwell Street school will be presented with the award and money in March.
Headteacher Lisa Tudor said: “We’re delighted with the award as the staff work very hard.
“The money will probably be spent on ICT, such as getting iPads, and we are also looking at doing more outdoor learning.”
The school is now able to apply for further funding to support the work it does providing children with a better future.
