A PEDESTRIAN was rushed to hospital this morning after being hit by a VW Transporter on the A36 at Norridge Wood.
At 4.18am this morning (Sunday May 15) a VW Transporter travelling along the A36 between the Granada roundabout and the Clay Hill Roundabout crashed into a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, who hasn't been identified yet, was rushed to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
The driver of the VW was uninjured and released at the scene.
PC Steve Hutton of Wiltshire Police said: "Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that passed the Granada services to come forward and flashed its lights at the VW transporter to potentially warn it of the pedestrian on the road. The driver, and any other witnesses, is asked to contact the police on 101 or email steve.hutton@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk."
