WITH the pumpkin carving craze more popular than ever this Halloween, pumpkins have been flying off the supermarket shelves over the weekend.
Georgie Goff, 16, was one of the customers hoping to create something magical, as she bought several pumpkins at Morrisons in Westbury in preparation for a spooktacular party tonight (Monday).
“I am really looking forward to getting together with friends and having a pumpkin party,” she said.
The supermarket has released research claiming 43 per cent of parents saying they are not at all confident when it comes to pumpkin carving, with the average household spending two hours 21 minutes perfecting their pumpkin monsters.
