Clear skies above Trowbridge allowed photographer Trevor Porter to take these picture at 3.10am today of the lunar eclipse - a sight that won't be seen for another 18 years.
A lunar eclipse (also known as a blood moon) occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth into its umbra (shadow).
This can occur only when the Sun, Earth and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle.
The last time this coincided with a lunar eclipse when the moon is covered by the Earth's shadow, was in 1982 and the event will not be repeated until 2033.
