AN independent travel agency is expanding into new and larger premises in Bradford on Avon after three years in its current home.

Holidays and Cruises for You Ltd is moving from 10 Silver Street into the former Formosa Kitchen shop at 32 Silver Street in September. The new offices will officially open on Monday, October 2.

Co-founder and joint director, Sherina Hale, who runs the business with her partner, Steve Plummer, said they are catering for a growing number of individual clients who are requiring dynamic arrangements; tailored holidays or cruises with pre-or post stays.

“Increasingly, we are putting together personal itineraries for discerning travellers, some of whom wish to combine business with pleasure,” said Sherina. “We are also delighted with the level of repeat business from our local regulars and corporate clients.”

Holidays and Cruises was originally formed in Westbury as a group cruise specialist but as the business grew it relocated, firstly to Paxton Mead Farm in Trowbridge and then to Bradford on Avon in July 2014. Three years later, it’s on the move again.

The company continues to specialise in group travel bookings for ‘blue chip’ clients, sports and social clubs and private organisers, nationwide. To include their popular ‘Discover Wiltshire’ programme which brings individuals and organisations from all over the UK to the market towns of Wiltshire.

The business now employs six people and the relocation is likely to create a further vacancy for a new apprentice. The new premises will give the company more, much- needed office space and a high street presence closer to the centre of the town.

Holidays and Cruises is an independent agency backed by Freedom Travel Group, a Thomas Cook consortia, and is a member of ABTA, the UK’s largest travel association and abides by the ABTA code of conduct. It is also covered by ATOL, the air travel protection scheme, so that clients are guaranteed peace of mind.

Sherina says “Our independent status enables us to present our clients with more choice and to cater for individuals and tailoring holidays to suit personal requirements or collective group interests.”

Sherina and Steve also offer fully-escorted UK and European coach travel and day trip packages to places of historic interest, film locations, gardens, steam railways etc from local pick up points, Bradford on Avon and surrounding towns via its own Travel Club.

Sherina states: “We believe that our clients’ holidays start as soon as they leave their front door,” and operate a ‘Home collect' service for flights from Bristol and Heathrow Airports and to cruise terminals at Avonmouth and Southampton as a courtesy when booking with us”
