The main road through Holt will be closed on Sunday, July 27, for the rededication of the war memorial on Ham Green.
The B3107 from the junction at Leigh Road to Ground Corner will be closed between 3.45pm and 4pm while the names of the 32 men who fell in the First World War are read out by lifelong Holt resident Rodney Moody.
Pupils from Holt Primary School will lay a cross they have made for each name read out and Holt Bell Ringers will sound a muffled peal on the church bells.
