Melksham Oak Community School is hoping to become an academy by April.
The school also wants to be part of the Academy Trust of Melksham, a multi-academy Trust with six other schools in the area.

A series of presentations are going to be held at each of the schools involved. These will take place at:
- The Manor CofE Primary, February 3, 6pm
- Melksham Oak, February 3, 6.30pm
