A CHARITY that helps disadvantaged people in Trowbridge and its surrounding areas is welcoming applications as it has £40,000 to distribute to worthy causes.
St James’ Trust has handed out money to societies and organisations annually since the 1990’s and it is doing that again in 2018.
Ros Histed from St James Church, Trowbridge, said: “The more people that we get applying, the better is is.
“We’ve had applications from small groups, such as the Monday and Wednesday clubs who support adults with learning difficulties, and the local stroke group for coach rides. If people want it, we are certainly here to help.”
The deadline for the application this year is March 31 and applicants will be told if they are successful in early July.
The address to write to for the application form is The St James’ Trust, 37 The Mount, Trowbridge, BA14 8SZ.
