The mother-of-three who died in a crash on the A4 at the Bradford Road junction on Thursday morning has been named by police.

Leanne Harris, 29, had dropped her eldest daughter, 11-year-old Kirsten off at school just before the accident happened at 8.45am.

Her two other children were in the car with her when the accident happened - 18-month-old Cameron, who fractured his clavical shoulder blade but is recovering at home, and six-year-old Caitlin, who escaped uninjured but is suffering from shock.

Mrs Harris' husband Lee ysterday thanked everyone who has left messages of condolence and support. He said: "I thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. I have lost my soulmate and my children a wonderful mum.

"Our lives are upside down at the moment but the three little lives I have been left with are my main priority now and I hope with the help of my family and friends I can be strong for them. We will miss her always."

Family liaison officer Pc Glenn Powell has said that the family, including her husband Lee, are bearing up after the traumatic and tragic incident.

He has also asked that anybody who witnessed the incident and hasn't already spoken to police should contact the Northern Roads Policing Unit at Gablecross police station, Swindon on 0845 408 7000.
