MYSTERY surrounds the identities of a group of youngsters who appeared on a set of stamps to mark the Queen's Coronation and the Royal Mail is asking for your help.

The stamps went on sale yesterday as it is 50 years to the day since the historic event. It features five images which were taken during the 1953 ceremony.

Royal Mail are keen to find out who the children were and what they are doing now.

The photographs were all taken in London but on only one stamp has the location been identified.

Patrick Breen, spokesman, said: "Who knows, perhaps some of our customers will recognise a friend or relative or even themselves?"
