POLICE have closed a road between Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon this morning following a fatal collision.
A motorcyclist riding a Triumph motorbike is thought to have hit a lamp post and died.
Officers were called by an eyewitness at 8.15am today who said the collision took place near Longscroft Nursery, half a mile from Bradford on Avon on the A363 Trowbridge Road.
The road is closed between The Beehive pub and Westwood Road while officers carry out investigations and is likely to remain closed for several hours.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
