THE pick of the five fixtures in Division Four this Sunday has to be the match at Langley Burrell where third-placed Old Road entertain leaders FC North Wiltshire, who reached the summit last weekend after their thrilling 6-5 win over Worton & Cheverell.

Old Road, who ended a two-match losing run last weekend, will need a tight defence as North Wilts have go the best goals for record in the division.

But they are also prone to leaking a few goals themselves makes for an interesting contest that could end in another scoring contest that the visitors may just edge.

Melksham Cosmos and Oakhill have both missed out on games over the previous fortnight so they will be both hopeful for a return to action this Sunday when they are due to line up at Goatacre.

Cosmos may not have won in six but they will start the game as favourites to take maximum points from a game that could see a lot of very tired players finish the game.

With Trowbridge Town Supporters Club on something of a high they will be expecting a repeat of their 3-1 victory over Pig & Whistle United B at the end of September when meet in the reverse match at Awdry Avenue in a few days time.

Trowbridge have lost just once in five while their hosts have not won in five games and although they will be keen to avenge their earlier loss it is hard to see anything other than a win for the visitors.

A surprise draw for Sportzcoach Dragonz United at Crossblades last weekend saw them drop down to second place.

Joe Hargreaves side will expected to stretch their unbeaten run to the season to nine games with a victory at Stanley Park over a Trowbridge Rangers side who are looking to arrest a seven-match losing run and who they have already beaten 4-1 this term.

Unless Rangers can conjure up something special they are unlikely to slay the Dragonz, who could return to the summit if other results were to go their way.

Worton & Cheverell (Sunday) and FC United of Chippenham find themselves in the bottom half of the table which for Worton is surprising as they have in Kyle Davies the division’s joint leading goal scorer.

A leaky defence seems to be letting them down at crucial times as proved last weekend when they threw away a half-time lead at North Wilts to lose 6-5.

If Worton shore up their back line they should claim a victory over a United side who have won just one of their last six outings.
