OLYMPIC champion Ed McKeever moved safely into the semi finals of the K1 200m at the Canoe Sprint World Championships in Duisberg, Germany, today.
McKeever, the London 2012 gold medallist, clocked 35.160 to win the second of six heats and reach tomorrow's semi finals.
Fellow Bradford on Avon paddler Hannah Brown and teammate Jessica Walker clinched a place in the K2 500m for women by finishing second in their heat today.
The British duo clocked 38.280 to finish behind Hungary's Katalin Kovacs and Natasa Douchev-Janic.
In yesterday's K2 500m, Brown and Walker were sixth in their heat, clocking 1:44.916.
