CHIPPENHAM & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE KNOCKOUT CUP PREVIEW: Holders Biddestone face tough test

First published in Sport

THE LAST remaining semi-final spot in this season’s presstoprint-sponsored Knock Out Cup is up for grabs this weekend.

Having lost their game at Yatton Road last Sunday due to a waterlogged pitch, Premier Division rivals Biddestone Social and Bradford Renegades will lock horns, looking to book their spot in the last four.

Biddestone, who have lifted the trophy in three of the last four campaigns, will be given a tough test by a Renegades side who were beaten semi-finalists last term.

What should be a thrilling cup tie could need extra-time to produce a winner and if things go to form, it should be Social who keep their cup dreams alive.
