DIVISION One leaders Prestige Bodyworks face a possible banana skin to their promotion hopes in the guise of Bromham this weekend when they sides are set to meet at Stanley Park.

One-time leaders Bromham have slipped down the table to fourth place and with just one win from their last five matches look to have lost some of their early-season sparkle.

However, Danny Powell’s side shouldn’t be written off as they could upset the formbook and get something from their trip to Chippenham to blow the title race wide open.

Bottom-of-the-table Chippenham West End will hope that their pitch at Sutton Benger will have recovered form last Sunday’s battering in time for them to face Staverton FC.

West End, who have yet to win this season, suffered a 4-2 loss when the sides met in December, although their guests go into the game on the back of a 9-3 defeat to Corsham Wildcats.

Corsham CC Wildcats were on top form against Staverton last weekend as they romped to a 9-3 win. Scott Fleming will look to his team to hit the goal trail for a second successive week when they visit fellow cricketers’ Goatacre CC, who are looking to end a five-match winless run.

Should results go their way second-placed Somerford could find themselves top of the table come Sunday afternoon.

Spike Chandler’s side are on the road at North Star A and although the hosts have lost just once in four games the visitors to Beversbrook, who have suffered just one loss in their 10 matches to date, should keep their title challenge alive with another maximum points haul to claim win number nine of the campaign.
