THE match of the weekend in the S.K. Fruits Ltd, Chippenham & District Sunday League is undoubtedly the Premier Division clash at Sands Lane, Rowde between leaders The Castle FC and three-time defending champions Biddestone Social who, after the recent withdrawal of FC Colerne from the top flight, currently trail Tom Perkins side by three points.
Since the start of last December just two top-flight games have survived the elements, one of those being the match between AFC Melksham and Semington Magpies at Christie Miller.
A month on from that game the sides lock horns in the reverse fixture at Rovers Littlemarsh base, Melksham winning the previous game 9-4.
