PRESTIGE Bodyworks boast a slender one-point lead over Somerford at the top of Division One, with both teams facing potential banana skins to their promotion hopes this Sunday.

Prestige host an out-of-sorts Goatacre CC side who have not won in five, but who beat their hosts 5-1 when the teams met in November.

Corsham CC Wildcats have not been in action since they thumped Staverton 9-3 a few weeks ago, and next up for Scott Fleming side is second-placed Somerford, who won the reverse clash 5-2.

Bromham had a resounding 6-2 victory over King Arms (All Cannings) when the teams last met and although Danny Powell’s side haven’t been at their best for a long time, with just one win in five outings, they should have enough in the tank to complete a league double over Dean Wilson’s side.

Staverton will play host to North Star A and will be slight favourites to complete a double over their guests, who they beat 5-3 in a thriller earlier this term.
