SUBSTITUTE Luke Ballinger struck in the second half as Melksham Town took their unbeaten run in the Toolstation League Premier Division to four matches with a 1-0 victory over Ilfracombe Town at The Conigre.

Darren Perrin's men have now won seven and drawn one of their last eight home matches and had first-half chances through Stu Greener and Dan Kovacs.

Ballinger netted the winner with his first touch just after the hour mark, slotting home after Shaun Benison's pass.

Sam Jordan's 49th league goal of the season wrapped up a narrow 1-0 triumph for First Division leaders Bradford Town against local rivals Westbury United.

Warminster Town slipped to a 3-1 defeat at home to Almondsbury UWE, despite a strike from Jack Metcalf.

Bret Agnew scored twice for the visitors, with Simon McElroy also on target.
