CROSS Keys Rowde may have blown their chance to finish as Division Four runners up a couple of weeks ago, but Josh Scott’s side, who beat Bath Road 2-1 in midweek, were determined to sign off with a victory at near neighbours Cavalier FC.
The villagers, who were held to a 3-3 draw the last time the sides met, coasted to a 6-2 triumph at Northbrook.
Goals from Paul Revening and goalkeeper Dave Siswick twice put Cavalier in front but goals for Bradley Whitbread, Greg Wilmott and Matt Lever meant that Rowde went into the break leading 3-2.
A second from Bradley Whitbread and Matt Lever along Ashley Armstrong’s single made up Rowde’s half dozen.
MATCH OFF: White Horse B v Miller Sports B.
