JOINT-BOSS Derek Graham thinks that Warminster Town have every chance of a successful season as long as his strongest side is available to him.
Warminster were missing a host of bodies on Saturday and slipped to a disappointing 3-0 loss at Wells City but with a stronger squad on Wednesday night, Graham and Andy Crabtree’s men saw off Oldland Abbotonians at Weymouth Street.
Beau Blakeman’s netted a long-range strike whilst Jack Miluk finished off a flowing team move to make it 2-0.
“In our friendly against Shrewton (last week), we had three lads turn their ankles and we ended up with seven missing on Saturday,” said Graham.
“We weren’t able to play the system that we have been doing all summer and it wasn’t very good at all.
“But with a few players back on Wednesday, it was much better - if we can play like that for the rest of the season, I definitely think we can finish mid-table.”
