LAURIE Canter returned to action on the European Tour for the first time in more than a month yesterday when he tees off in the first round of the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco.
The 27-year-old has not competed since he failed to make the cut at the Tswane Open in South Africa back in the first week of March.
This week’s tournament at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam is Canter’s fifth on the Tour of the 2017 season, with his best result being finishing in a tie for 14th place at the BMW SA Open back in January.
Fellow Wiltshire golfers David Howell and Jordan Smith also have entries for the tournament at Rabat on the east coast of Morocco.
