SECOND Division Forest AFC started their game against Westbury Cons as underdogs and despite giving a good account of themselves they suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of their first division opponents whose winning goal came when Steve Knight headed home a brilliant pinpoint Mark Allard cross in the first half.
High-scoring third division leaders Kingfisher progressed at the expense of second division Calne United who suffered a 2-1 loss.
Will Stone (Kingfisher) and George Dolman (Calne) traded first-half goals before Stone bagged his second to seal victory for the Fishermen.
Premier Division outfit Pheasant had a trouble-free passage into the next round after opponents White Hart were unable to raise a team for their preliminary round clash.
