THE aftermath of the big freeze hit Westbury United after their game away to Clevedon United on Wednesday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
“We’re disapointed because Luke Smith travelled from Buckinghamshire and Wayne Wheeler came from London to play,” said manager Paul Brickley.
Westbury host fellow title challengers Keynsham Town on Saturday and Brickley says that it is a crucial match for his side.
“It’s the type of game that you cannot afford to lose,” he said.
“They’re a good side and they’ll be right up there at the end of the season but these are the type of games that seem to bring the best out of us.”
