PREMIER Division leaders Goatacre CC FC hosted White Horse (Sunday) A in what was the only top-flight fixture of the day.
Goatacre, who defeated their guests 3-1 when the teams met in early October, completed a double over Clive Black’s side thanks to an 8-1 triumph, which sees them open up a four-point gap over second-placed Castle FC.
Paul Dixon gave Goatacre the lead in the first minute and a first-half treble from Tom Boakes put them 4-0 up at the interval. Alex Hamilton made it 5-0 early in the second half.
Boakes added his fourth of the morning to make it 6-0 and Hamilton scored again before Clive Black set up Brody Broom for the White Horse consolation. Matt Smart completed the scoring with Goatacre’s eighth of the game.
