CHIPPENHAM & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE DIVISION ONE: Red letter day for Armstrong and Bridewell
THE lone Division One action of Thursday night saw Miller Sports conclude their troubled season with a 5-2 loss at Rowdy Cow Rowde who, with one match remaining, could finish the campaign in fifth spot.
Ben Cooper fired Miller into an early lead only for goals from Bradley Whitbread and Ashley Armstrong with his first of the season to turn things in favour of Rowdy Cow.
Cooper added a second for Miller, however it was just a consolation as goals for Robbie Whyte, a second from Whitbread and a first of the campaign for Grant Bridewell sealed victory for Rowdy Cow.
